![]() This is not "decades of economics research and widely adopted principles" or maybe you have forgotten to cite your sources that economy is driven by people who want things 1 week sooner for 10 times the prices because they are moron. Your argument is people are dumb and they are going to pay 10 times the price to get one thing 1 week sooner. Mines only supported by decades of economics research and widely adopted principles? Early on prices vary, example being a POE league start. With bots now everything devalues so you have to work harder for everything you get since prices are very set in stone. It benefits everyone equally to not have bots. The less shako's on the market the more your find is worth helping you get better gear, bots will make shako worth an IST very quickly so now you have to find 4-5 shako's to get that vex. No bots and you found a spare shako? Have fun thinking about what you might want since someone may overpay for it or shop for offers or you overpay with it for something specific, maybe someone has a Lo or Vex that would get you a Hoto or Grief. My point is that when it is just us trading each other in game the prices vary based on what we have and that lasts for longer without bots. Luckily the guy gave me a perfect vmagi for a mal rune so it seemed pretty fair to me. If items were harder to find people would only trade in what they have, example being i found a mal rune and a vmagi would be a huge help to my character so i made a game "mal 4 vmagi" and i was planning on overpaying because it was all i had. Looking at the other side of this if you don't use the website. ![]()
